Childhood (pediatric) cancers

This is an area where I have not so far ventured. Fortunately I do not need to re-invent the wheel. Patty's Pediatric Oncology Resource Center website at www.acor.org/ped-onc has a wealth of annotated links to pediatric cancer websites and other resources relating to childhood cancers and parenting children with cancer. There's also a lot of childhood cancers information on her website.

She describes the Ped-Onc Resource Center as a website for parents, friends, and families of children who have or had childhood cancer, created by parents of children with cancer.

Patty's son was diagnosed with ALL in 1997 and there's a special section on Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on the site.

Another section is called "Grand listing of cancer kid web pages - "Stories and Faces"". She says "Families of children with cancer all around the world have created web pages to tell us their stories. These pages come in all shapes and sizes. Each one is special, just as each child is special. My goal is to maintain a complete listing of all childhood cancer personal web pages".

"There's also a listing of many online support groups (mailing lists
and message boards) including several ACOR mailing lists that Patty
co-administrates."
